Brain Dump Journal for Grief Massage Therapists- PDF
Brain Dump Journal for Grief Massage Therapists- PDF
In this printable 50 page PDF journal you will find “brain dump” prompts and space for writing drawing after providing a Grief Massage session.
A process for letting go of the energies of perfectionism, rumination, control, and fear can be a valuable part of your self-care routine as a Grief Massage therapist. This journal is very unique in how the prompts will encourage you to use “brain dump” journaling and creativity (rather than overanalyzing) to relinquish the noise in your head and instead glean wisdom and insight post-session.
There are 8 pages (some with prompts and some simply blank spaces for journaling) for each post-Grief Massage journaling session. The last page is a place to record insights that “stick” with you after the brain dump.
Each time you print this file, you will generate a 50 page document for creative journaling after six Grief Massage sessions.
You will be able to print from the document as many times as you would like once you download the PDF, so you are not limited in how many post-session journaling sessions you can have!
So, gather your colored pencils, markers, crayons or other art supplies and take a few moments to tune out the noise and tune into your creative inner self post-session.
Here’s something we may not talk about enough:
Holding space for grievers through physical touch is an extreme honor, and it can feel as if we enter another world while we are doing this sacred work. This brain dump journal was created to support you as you journey back into your own life (and back into ordinary reality) post-session.
We need support and rituals to help with re-integrating back into our everyday life after we hold space for grievers through Grief Massage. We need to be able to let go, disconnect from our client lovingly, and tend to our human needs.
My hope is that answering the prompts and letting go of the noise that can take up space in our heads (especially as Grief Massage practitioners) will help you get to know yourself and your needs as a Grief Massage practitioner while building capacity to do more and more of this important and sacred work.
The unique prompts I created for you in this self-reflection journal use focus areas of perfectionism, rumination, control, and fear for brain dumping, however there are also empty spaces for you to write and draw on brain dump topics of your own choosing.
At times, you may choose to brain dump on ALL the topics, while at other times, you will choose one or several that most apply to your experience.
Please note: The prompts contained within this journal are intended to encourage you to listen to your own wisdom about your needs and experiences in a Grief Massage setting. This journal is NOT intended as a place for you to record session notes or record information about your grieving clients.
Upon purchase you will receive a download link to the file. The link will stay active for 24 hours after first download.
